Chicago Bulls    78   vs. Philadelphia 76ers    79     Recap

The #1 seeded Bulls are out in the 1^st round, and it didn’t help to have Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah injured during the series.  Andre Iguodal hit a couple of clutch free throws to give the Sixers the win.  Philadelphia will move on to face Boston, who I am predicting will give them a much tougher test.

Atlanta Hawks    80   vs. Boston Celtics    83     Recap

A big 2^nd quarter propelled the Celtics to the win, which advances them to the 2^nd round to face the Pacers.  Atlanta went down swinging but Kevin Garnett came up big for Boston, scoring 28 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.  If the Celtics stay healthy and Doc can keep the old legs rested I think Boston can make a run at being in the NBA finals.

LA Lakers    96   vs. Denver Nuggets   113     Recap

This series goes to Game 7 in LA and Kobe is definitely not happy with the team’s play.  They were up 3-1, looking like contenders, and now the series is even.  Bryant played with a stomach flu last night in the loss and chastised Gasol and Bynum both.  He wants his 2 big men to step up.  The Lakers will win it at home, but this is a wakeup call if they want to make it any further.
