Daily NBA Recaps for 4/26

Here you can find the recaps for all the NBA games of the day:

New Jersey Nets   67  vs. Toronto Raptors    98     Recap

The Nets didn’t show up for their last game of the season.  Maybe they will have better look in Brooklyn next season.  With Deron Williams unlikely to return, the team has a lot of work ahead in the offseason.

Portland Trail Blazers    94   vs. Utah Jazz    96     Recap

Denver Nuggets    131   vs. Minnesota Timberwolves    102     Recap

I thought Minnesota would put up more of a fight in this last game.  The Nuggets played like they really wanted the game, and the win gave them the #6 seed in the West and they will open the playoffs with the Lakers.

Dallas Mavericks    89   vs. Atlanta Hawks    106     Recap

Atlanta finally came through for me for the win and clinched home court for the first round.  Josh Smith led the Hawks with 23 points.  It will be interesting to see how Atlanta performs in the postseason.  They have been hard to figure out at times during the regular season.

Philadelphia 76ers    86   vs. Detroit Pistons    108     Recap

Cleveland Cavaliers    75   vs. Chicago Bulls    107     Recap

Orlando Magic    76   vs. Memphis Grizzlies    88     Recap

New York Knicks    104   vs. Charlotte Bobcats    84     Recap

Winning money betting the NBA is about riding streaks, both cold and hot.  If you have been paying attention you should definitely have made money with the Bobcats.  I can’t remember the last game they covered.

Miami Heat    70   vs. Washington Wizards    104     Recap

The game may not have meant anything, but this tells something about the team that everyone expects to win it all.  They have no depth and I don’t think 3 guys are enough to win an NBA championship.

Milwaukee Bucks    74   vs. Boston Celtics    87     Recap

New Orleans Hornets    77   vs. Houston Rockets    84     Recap

San Antonio Spurs    107   vs. Golden St. Warriors    101     Recap

LA Lakers    96   vs. Sacramento Kings    113     Recap

Most of the starting lineup for the Lakers sat this game out.  It was good to see Sacramento get the win in a game that could be their last at Arco Arena.
