One of the best division title races in the stretch run of the MLB regular season is in the AL East between two of the most bitter rivals in baseball. Heading into Thursday’s action, the Boston Red Sox held a 4.5-game lead over the New York Yankees in advance of a three-game clash between the two teams this weekend at Fenway Park starting on Friday night with Game 1 at 7:10 p.m. (ET).

This weekend’s series will be the backend of an extended home-and-home showdown after Boston took two out of three from New York last weekend at Yankee Stadium; however New York still holds a slight 7-5 edge in the season series. Be sure to check BetAnySports for the betting lines for this series as well as all the MLB games on the board over the next few days.

The second week of the NFL preseason offers up a number of great matchups on NFL Network starting with a NFC clash between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks this Friday night in a 10 p.m. kickoff at CenturyLink Field.
