BetAnySports Weekend Betting Preview – Jan. 30-31

The stage has been set for Super Bowl 50, but sports bettors will have to wait one more week for the showdown between Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos taking-on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. If you still want to bet on football this weekend, you can find some betting lines on BetAnySports for this Saturday’s Senior Bowl and Sunday’s NFL Pro Bowl.

There is also plenty of basketball action to attract bettor’s attention both in the NBA and at the college level over the next few days. The top match-up in the pros on BetAnySports’ Saturday betting board is also the last game of the day with the San Antonio Spurs squaring-off against the Cleveland Cavaliers in an 8:30 p.m. (ET) start on ABC.

The Spurs bounced-back from this past Monday’s 30-point loss to Golden State on the road with a 31-point victory over Houston on Wednesday as 9.5-point home favorites. They will go back on the road with a 13-8 record against the spread in 21 previous road games. Cleveland is just 10-11 ATS at home this season and they have gone 2-3-1 ATS in its last six games.

The top NBA match-up on Sunday’s slate pits the Chicago Bulls against the Los Angeles Clippers in a 3:30 p.m. tip on ABC in the first game of the day. The Bulls got past the Los Angeles Lakers 114-91 their last time out as 8.5-point road favorites, but they are still just 3-4 both straight-up and ATS in their last seven games. The Clippers will face the rival Lakers on Friday night as home favorites and they have gone 4-2 both SU and ATS in their last six games.

College hoops continues to heat-up the road to March Madness this Saturday with a big inter-conference match-up between the No. 14 Iowa State Cyclones and the No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies in a 2 p.m. start on ESPN. Iowa State brings a four-game winning streak (SU and ATS) into this game and the total has stayed UNDER in all four games. The Aggies are coming off a 74-71 loss to Arkansas as 3.5-point road favorites this past Wednesday after winning their previous 10 games SU. They are now 2-4-1 ATS in their last seven contests.

One of the big games on Sunday’s college hoops schedule is a Big Ten battle between No. 8 Maryland and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. on CBS and be sure to check BetAnySports for betting lines for this and all the games on this weekend’s lineup.
