Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson isn't one to take the easy road
in strengthening his anatomy (see NFL.com Fantasy ad) and alternative medicine

The Nuggets head to Los Angeles tonight to face the Clippers who are trying to bounce back from two tough losses in a row.  America's Bookie has Los Angeles as an 8 point favorite at home.  The total for this game is set at 205 ½.

Denver is struggling a bit these days and has a 4-7 record during the month of February.  They are pretty banged up and relying on backups to get the job done.  Arron Afflalo hit the game winning shot in overtime on Monday to give the Nuggets a 103-101 win over Minnesota.  Reserve Al Harrington led Denver with 31 points on the night.  The Nuggets played without Danilo Gallinari, Nene and Rudy Fernandez.  Ty Lawson sprained...

After his win at last week’s event, Bill Haas will be looking to make a run at the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship.  This event features the top 64 golfers in the world (minus a couple of them for various reasons) in a unique format that pairs them against one another in what looks to be an exciting week.  The event will be played at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Course is Arizona.

We are just a few days away from the first NASCAR race of the season and fans cannot wait to see the official green flag for the Daytona 500.  This year’s race will feature a new asphalt surface, which will be a welcome to drivers after dealing with the pot holes at last year’s race.  With the new track, tires won’t be the issue anymore.  With the smooth surface, engine cooling will be the big issue.

This will be the first race with two car tandem drafting replacing big packs of cars drafting.  This is going to be interesting to watch with the new changes to the cooling systems and smaller front grill openings.  NASCAR officials hope this will stop drivers from pushing for such long stresses and cut down on cars going airborne.

The regular season will end in a few days as teams continue to battle for a prime position in their respective conference standings. What they can do over the next few days will go a long way towards determining their postseason fate. Looking back at this season we have a clear picture of every team in Division I to clearly single-out out which programs are hot and which ones are not.
