2012 Heisman Trophy Odds to Win

The oddsmakers at America's Bookie have updated the odds for the 2012 Heisman Trophy and USC quarterback Matt Barkley remains favored.

Barkley is currently currently favored to win the Heisman at +300, while Wisconsin running back Montee Ball is at +400. Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson has the next best odds at +500, while Oklahoma signal caller Landry Jones is at +600. Geno Smith of West Virginia is at +800. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore and Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel are all at +1000.

Barkley completed 69 percent of his passes for 3,528 yards with 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions last year while leading USC to a 10-2 record. With USC expected to win the Pac-12 this season, Barkley will get plenty of Heisman hype.

Meanwhile, Ball led the nation 1,923 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry and toted the rock 303 times. He also added 24 catches for 306 yards with six touchdowns.
